SYNOPSIS
The film revolves around an Argentinean theatre director (Antonio Banderas) whose journalist wife (Emma Thompson) is kidnapped by the military during Argentina’s “dirty war.” Shortly after her disappearance, he begins to experience visions depicting the fate of other people’s loved ones who have also “disappeared.” When he decides to use his newfound clairvoyant powers to find his own wife, he also becomes a target of the same military dictatorship.
