This week the wait is over, The Matrix Revolutions will open simultaneously in thousands of theaters all around the world. Last week Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Nona Gaye, along with special effects master John Gaeta and producer Joel Silver spoke about the final chapter. The press conference was held at the newly opened Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. While the venue was impressive, the event itself was a media frenzy and a bit impersonal because of the large crowd and the clutter of cameras. The interviews went without any problems, but the typically comfortable environment making for candid conversation was missing entirely.
