Saturday:
Today
was by far the busiest day for Ronnie and I over at Comic Con,
and by far the best shit we've seen today was not only the Star
Wars DVD presentation but Robert Rodriguez's upcoming film SIN
CITY, the footage that was shown today was just fucking SICK,
it was awesome!! I remember Robert saying that a lot of fans including
myself we're very disappointed that NO, NOT ONE footage was shown
for BATMAN BEGINS! and that pretty much set the tone for the rest
of the weekend, but Robert went on and said that "I was also
disappointed as well" but that he was not going to the same
thing WB did, he showed footage as long as no one video taped
it and the crowd went freaking nuts. I loved what Robert said
"SIN CITY IS A TRANSLASTION NOT AN APDATAION
of Frank Millers graphic novel" and boy was
he right! So in saying that we caught a sneak peek at 3 posters
for Sin City, which features NANCY (Jessica Alba), GAIL (Rosario
Dawson) and GOLDIE (Jaime King).

Friday
We've got a few new
images from Friday's Studio presentations. First up, Batman Begins.
Although there was no footage shown, David Goyer and Cillian Murphy
(btw, it's pronounced "Kill-ian") did come out and talk
about Batman. No Big woop. Kind of a let down because everyone
was hoping for a little something-something. Even a glimpse of
the batsuit would have had the whole place jumping. Chris Nolan
and Christian Bale did give a pre-recorded video message, but
it sure wasn't enough. Anyway, here's a shot of Cillian as Dr.
Jonathan Crane.

Constantine
was next up. Warners gave out some cool posters at the door, which
we poorly translated. Hopefully we'll be able to get a high-res
image from Warners soon. Warner Bros. also showed 18 minutes of
footage from Constantine. Although it wasn't cohesive enough for
the non-Hellblazer followers, it was hella-cool. Beautifully shot.
Rich colors and striking contrast. Seeing hell and demons shot
so beautfully will leave you feeling haunted.

Next up we have a couple
Blade Trinity posters. I'm saddened to say this, but we missed
the presentation to catch Guillermo Del Torro's Hellboy DVD presentation.
But hopefully someone else online will have those for you. In
the meantime, here are the images.

Wednesday-Thursday
Here we are once again. The beautiful city of San Diego. With
a minor stopover at the Pechanga Indian Casino, I arrived early
from Los Angeles, but a little poorer.
For those of you planning on coming
to Comic Con I say to you, stay home! There are way too many people
here already, and the Con hasn't even started! There were thousands
of people throughout the Convention area. I had to stand in lines
much longer than years past, and those years sucked. But really,
if you are coming and don't have your tickets by Thursday, you
should plan on getting in line by at least 5:00 am on Friday.
Seriously.
For the others lucky enough to
be staying home this year, we'll be bringing you as much action
as we can. Although I have to warn you, there will be no pictures
of Storm Troopers squads, Jawa's or X-Wing pilots. I've had enough
of them already. We'll be snapping exceptionally cool outfits
and of course, the gals who have the built in cleavage enhancing
bras.
UPDATE:
We've received a brand new card/image while waiting on line to
get our credentials. According to the fellow who gave us card,
this is an exclusive to Comic Con and that not everyone got the
card, but hey we did so here is your first look at the pic.

For now, I'll start with a few
small things. First up, a cool Sin
City banner.

A cool
display for the upcoming, and I’m not 100% sure on this,
but I believe it's the straight to video Species 3.
And yes my friends that is a bikini clad hottie rolling around
with a phallic like tentacle in a glass case. More pics soon.
