"La Revelde" has sent us a couple of exclusives pictures
from the set of Cellular, which stars Kim Basinger,
Chris Evans, Jason Statham, and William H. Macy. The film follows
a young man who answers a cell phone call from a desperate kidnap
victim (Basinger) and has to track her down while making sure
he doesn't lose the connection.
I recently came across
the set of CELLULAR in downtown Los Angeles. There was some stunt
driving going on. Unfortunately, I did not catch the first day
on camera, but I got the second day.
On the first day,
There was a little security car that broke though a construction
zone. It jumped over hills, through a water ditch and finally
busted through a fence. It took them all day to set up the stunt,
which when it was all said and done, didn't look all the spectacular.
Of course I'm sure it will look great on the big screen.
The next day, they
were still filming the same little car, but as you can see from
the pictures, it winds up on fire and underneath a cement mixer!
There is also a blue convertible porsche thats somehow involved
in this chase. I'm not sure who's being chased or doing the chasing,
but from what I heard, Kim Bassinger and Jason Straham are in
this one, and I'll go see Jason in anything!
