Interview with Jason Isaacs

LR: Are you done filming The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen?

Jason: "It's a very weird thing with Extraordinary Gentlemen actually, and its all over the internet and it's all over the press that I'm playing this part [Campion Bond] and I hope the checks arrive soon cause I NEVER read the script and I've never been offered the part and I'm not doing it. Some Isaacs somewhere is playing Campion Bond, it must be really pissing him off. Because everytime he opens the newspaper it talks about how much fun I'm having on the set and how I've been flooded off from PRAGUE. Very odd, I don't know where it started. I'm mean I'm sorry but I don't mean to embarrass you in anyway".

Question: So how was it to work with Sean Connery?

Out burst of laughter

LR: Are you doing Resident Evil: Nemesis?

Jason: Funny thing with Resident Evil, cause I was in Toronto doing Tuxedo and Paul Anderson was saying "come across and just do like a line" so I went and did it and Paul started doing interviews for it [Resident Evil] and a journalist asked him "I see Jason Isaacs did an uncredited cameo in Resident Evil is that because he is in Resident Evil 2?. Paul said "ABSOLUTELY I've written a great part for him." He [Paul] has never mentioned it to me, I have no idea if he is telling the truth or not. I don't think he's even written it. But I will always work with him [Paul Anderson} because life is too short not to work with your friends.
