Disney just threw a
"Green Light" party to celebrate the beginning of production
on the Jerry Bruckheimer Pirate epic. IGN Film Force reported
that party goers were shown various sets and artwork (which IGN
has posted), including a "volcanic cavern". I wish we
could have been there. But, we can help you out with some set
pics that La Ramera has sent in for us.
The pics show what appears
to be a Stone Fort and a Bow.. Stern... or is it Aft... well the
front part of a Pirate ship. That ship looks like the tore it
right out of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland.
The Pirates ride will
always have a special place in my heart because it was on this
ride that I felt my first boob. Ah, memories. It was back in High
School and her name was Karen. After the Pirates ride, we raced
over to the epitome of make-out rides, The Haunted Mansion, where
we sucked on each others faces for the entire ride. Enough about
me.
La Ramera send in a
report on what she saw on the cliffs of Palos Verdes.
Hey Guys! There was
a story on the Internet the other days about The Pirates of the
Caribbean filming at the Old Marine Land amusement park. I have
been following the site for a while now and wanted to make some
contribution to La Raza. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
The sun was out, the wind was blowing and the set was clearly
visible from the Road. We came across the PC, so we knew we were
in the right place. Then we found what MAY be a prop for the movie
in the parking lot. It looks like one of the fake ships from the
POC ride as Disneyland. There was so much detail in the ship,
that I just had to send you a few pictures of it.
The Fort had an American
Flag on it, which was a neat thing for the crew to do. I took
the pics and had them one-hour developed. I had my little brother
scan them in for you guys. I hope you like them.
