| More Pirates
of the Caribbean pics |
| Hey Fellas, I was
out taking some sunset pictures in Palos Verdes when I came
across the Pirates of the Caribbean set. I saw the pictures
that you had posted some time ago (find
them here). I walked up to the castle, half expecting
to be chased by security, but to my amazement, there wasn't
a security guard to be found. I read El Machette's experiences
with security guards, so was amazed at how accessible the
sets were. None the less, here are a bunch of pictures for
you guys. Hope you like them. As far as a name to call me,
you can call me Hombre! |

| I sat in front of
the castle, with my back toward the beach, and started to
take pictures, moving the camera slowly to the right. The
work that was done on this castle is quite impressive. It's
beautiful, as a matter of fact. I later went inside the castle,
and took a series of pictures in the same fashion as well. |

| I entered the castle
and took another series of swooping pictures. Excuse the lighting,
but it was dusk. As you can see, the British Flag is waving
in the wind. I took a closer shot of the flag. It's edges
are torn, as if it has been waving in the wind for some time.
I doubt this is by accident. There was some sort of torn down
obstruction. It appeared to resemble the gallows that I found
outside, but torn down. I am not sure if this means anything. |

| I took several other
pictures of the props. I was most impressed with the cannons.
They looked so real. As far as I could tell, they probably
were. The other pictures that I took were very pretty against
the setting sun over the Pacific Ocean. |
