Coming Soon has reported that 11-year-old Jimmy Bennett has snagged the role of young James T. Kirk in the upcoming Star Trek prequel. The lad has appeared in such films as Hostage, The Amityville Horror, Firewall, Poseidon and Evan Almighty.
Yes there is an OLDER Kirik if you haven't been paying attention. He's played by Chris Pine.
