Breaking News: America Ferrera's Latest Project Is An American Tragic

Before the trades decide to print the story and not give us credit (again), I figured we'd just give you the heads up before they do. Fans of Ugly Betty and America Ferrera will be happy to know that her latest project deals with the issues of returning soldiers from war called "American Tragic".
Not a whole lot of details are available right now, but America has signed on to play the wife of a returning soldier who begins to experience physiological trauma from his time served overseas. With the help of his wife and friends, both inside and outside the service, he tries to come to terms with his experiences. A well known and rising Mexican actor is rumored to co-star but no confirmation yet.
America Ferrara and Sergio Aguero are executive producers. The film will be distributed by Maya Entertainment.
