Our buddy El Mayimbe has some interesting scoop casting news from two upcoming projects...

First up, the upcoming film that Paul W.S. Anderson is doing next after Castlevania is Death Race 3000, the remake of Death Race 2000.

The film supposely takes place in the year 2020, a series of race car drivers compete in an ultraviolent race using heavily armed cars.

Here is what El Mayimbe tells us about who will most likely be in the film:


NEXT

Now that its pretty much clear that Emile Hirsh has the role of Speed in the upcoming 2008 movie Speed Racer directed by the Wachowski Brothers, El Mayimbe tells us that some has been offered the role of Remington in the film.

Here is what he says:


Kind of makes since Roger has worked with the Wachowski's before in "V for Vendetta." We'll keep you posted.
