Dreyfus Elected to Vice Presidency

By Edgar 'El Toro' Arce on May 22, 2008

Sources report that Richard Dreyfus is in final talks to play Dick Cheney in Oliver Stone’s upcoming “W”.

The West Wing is already occupied by the likes of Josh Brolin (President Bush) Thandie Newton (Condoleezza Rice) and Elizabeth Banks (Laura Bush). The role of Cheney is the last major position in the Bush administration to be filled. Although never playing a president, Dreyfus has experience playing political characters in his filmography. He starred as an opposition senator to Michael Douglas' commander in chief in 1995's "The American President," and as Alexander Haig in a television movie about Ronald Reagan.

The movie “W” will be released in October, before Americans elect a new president.  I definitely will be in a theater multiplex watching this one, I’m a sucker for controversy!

What about you? Will you be watching “W”, or will Oliver Stone’s film be impeached from theaters faster than you can say “recount?”
