Exclusive: Black Dynamite Cartoon Coming Soon To Cartoon Network

During today's junket for Black Dynamite, I was talking to Michael Jai White (one of my favorite ass kicking actors) and Arsenio Hall about their new movie, Black Dynamite.
I asked Michael if he planned on expanding the world of Black Dynamite, like in a comic book, when he told me they're planning on doing a Black Dynamite cartoon series for Cartoon Network. (I'm assuming for Adult Swim). He said one of the guys (I think Carl Jones) behind the popular series The Bookdocks is behind it.
Not sure when we can expect it, but if it's anything like the movie, it'll be a lot of fun to watch. I'm sure Michael will be voicing Black Dynamite. After all, he's no stranger to doing voiceover work having done the voice of Doomsday in the Justice League.
And according to Black Dynamite director Scott Sanders, they already have ideas for a sequel if the film does well.
Make sure you check out Black Dynamite in theaters October 16th.
