What's up mi gente!
You can file this one under the coulda/shoulda/woulda category...
So it's no secret that Andrew Garfield bagged the Peter Parker/Spidey role in Marc Webb's upcoming reboot of Spider-man.
But did you know Josh Hutcherson (JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH, the upcoming RED DAWN') was once one of the top finalists?
You know how that happened?
By the cool audition piece you can now see in all it's glory below for yourselves!
Earlier yesterday, screen grabs from the audition leaked online. Thanks to an anonymous donor, we got the video.
Pretty cool huh?
Hutcherson's audition got the attention of the execs at Sony and I think a meeting or two with Webb.
I heard that up and coming fight choreographer Larnell Stovall from UNDISPUTED 3 chroeographed the gem below.
If you haven't seen UNDISPUTED 3 yet, I highly recommend you do so.
So what do you folks think?
Although, I'm hearing good things about Garfield, expecially in the upcoming THE SOCIAL NETWORK, I'm still not sold.
Time will hopefully make me a believer, in the meantime, check out what almost was...
