Two things you should know: Alice in Wonderland has always been a favorite story of mine and I've never been able to resist seeing Tim Burton put his spin on something. That's why every new pic from his upcoming sequel to the original story has me positively drooling with thoughts of Wonderland in IMAX.
Well, things just got worse/better for me now that Planet Disney has full body shots of three of the main characters: the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter), and 17-year-old Alice (Mia Wasikowska). Though the pics that Planet Disney boasts are slightly grainy, scanned images, Peter over at Slashfilm has cleaned them up so you can get a better feel for the direction Burton has taken. And if you're wondering why the Red Queen boasts the Queen of Hearts motif, that's because Burton is following the 1951 Disney film's precedent by combining the two characters into one catchall antagonist.
