G.I. Joe Sequel Writers Have Comic Book Ties

G.I. Joe Sequel Writers Have Comic Book Ties I still don't care what anyone says, last summer's G.I. Joe was a ton of fun to watch and I enjoyed it just as much a second time on Blu-Ray. It was the action figures on the big screen with tons of action, violence and senseless civilian deaths. What more could one ask for in a Joe movie?

While readers and fans seemed to hate it, it made its money guaranteeing that a sequel would be on the way. And with the studio listening to fan criticism, it looks like they've hired two writers who have already written a popular blockbuster comedy/horror movie that came out last year. (hint, it had zombies in it)

IESB has learned
that the two guys behind Deadpool are now going to be writing the G.I. Joe sequel. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the duo behind the wildly popular Zombieland have one more new project they're going to tackle.

Will this be the Joe movie fans that hated the first have been wanting all along? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. But I think they're an excellent choice for the Joe sequel.

And guy, put one of these in the credits. Please?
