Guapo Cam! The Creature From The Black Lagoon Musical!

I LOVE Universal Studios. I've been going there since I was a kid and the musicals and stage shows have always been one of my favorite things in the park. (I do wish they'd bring back the wild west stunt show). Today Universal Studios is debuting their brand new musical, The Creature From the Black Lagoon - A Raging Rockin' Show.
My favorite of the stage shows was the Conan one. I remember when they had the Beetlejuice musical and it was horrible. They also had a Spider-Man musical that was unwatchable. But something strange happened last year...at their Halloween yearly event, they had a pop culture style musical stage show so good, it got a standing ovation at the end. I think they were testing it out because they were asking people what they thought of the show at the end of it. So what happened to it? Why did it get axed for this new horror musical? Only the execs can answer that one because there was no standing ovation this time.
Joined by Devin Faraci from CHUD and Ryan Rotten from Shock Till You Drop (Paul from Movieweb also says hello) we set out to take in the grandeur of the park's newest musical. With a special appearance by the original leading lady from the 1954 classic Creature film Julie Adams, we witnessed about twenty minutes of music, jokes, sexual innuendo and crazy stage production.
But is it worth seeing? Ah, that is the ultimate question. Lucky for you, I took my patented Q37 Explosive Space Modulator Guapo Cam to film clips from the stage show, and well...it was certainly different.
Check out some of the pics I took followed by a ton of clips from the musical itself. Devin and Ryan give their thoughts at the end. The reason there are so many clips is because I didn't want to shoot the whole thing, thus depriving you from the experience. It's horror alright, but not in a good way.
Lots of reporters waiting for the big debut of the Creature.
Really, Universal? "it's spell"? Nobody proof reads this stuff beforehand?
Ahaha! See you monsoon! ROFLcopter! Instead of soon, it's mon...oh, forget it.
This ship floated all over the stage. As did the angelic music.
Ooga booga booga booga!!
Holy crap! We caught a big one!
Well, the size was impressive at least. "That's what she said!" Sorry...
Julie Adams and the Creature reunite.
This 3-way porn clip would sell for billions.
Alright, now it's Guapo Cam time! All clips should be in HD but please don't ask me to explain what the hell is going on. Basically a bunch of explorers are hunting for the creature and the girl ends up falling in love with it when she realizes her husband who looks suspisciously like Mark Dacascos won't be romantic with her. The songs are interesting to say the least. Colorful commentary on some of the clips? Perhaps! Have fun!
