Hellboy II Giving Fans What They Want!

By Edgar 'El Toro' Arce on May 16, 2008

The folks over at universal have begun their hard marketing (and very creative I might add) for the upcoming HellBoy sequel, "HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY."

We just got wind of a bunch of goodies for all of you Hellboy geeks to pass the endless amount of time you have on your hands!  First off, the one sheet (CLICK HERE FOR THAT) for the film looks awesome! I never was a big fan of Hellboy, but believe me, if I walk into a theater and see this poster, with no clue as to what it’s about; I’d plunk down my money to see it. I like the tag line “Believe It Or Not He’s The Good Guy”. That’s pretty funny, due to his very “Bad Guy” look.

Then Universal offers up fans a chance to take a trip to the premiere of HB2, if you’re up to the challenge. That’s right; you think they’re just giving it up for nothing? You have to crack a code and figure out some math to qualify, so better bust out the calculators, and what ever else you need if you’re that desperate to see the big red guy.

Del Toro then invites fans to access his HB2 notebook live!! Everyone knows how talented an artist he is, so what would you do to be able to access his drawings anytime? Well HB2 geeks start squealing!! Logging on to the given site allows you just that….complete access to Del Toro’s notes! Way cool if you ask me.

There are all sorts of cool stuff related to HB2 like access to a fan art gallery as well as a site promoting Humans for the Ethical Treatment of Fairies, Elves and Trolls, or HETFET. Obviously lots of money is being poured into this franchise, but if you ask me, the fan base makes it all worth it.

Check it by click on the promo pic.

Que dices? (What do you say for the non Hispanics in our audience)

Are you a human in favor of ethical treatment of fairies, elves and trolls?

Or are you more interesting in hacking into Del Toro’s notebook? Let me know.
