Hi-Res Star Trek Comic-Con Posters

Paramount Pictures has provided Latino Review with high-resolution versions of the Comic-Con posters for J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek." If you combined all four posters they make up the official teaser one-sheet. The posters pretty much look like the wallpapers from the official site.
The film stars Chris Pine, John Cho, Ben Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Zachary Quinto, Winona Ryder, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Eric Bana, Leonard Nimoy, Marlene Forte, and Jimmy Bennett.
From director J.J. Abrams ("Mission: Impossible III," "Lost" and "Alias") and screenwriters Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman ("Transformers," "MI: III") comes a new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time, "Star Trek," featuring a young, new crew venturing boldly where no man has gone before.

This movie is a rotting corpse already... it's JJ Abrams, and he couldn't direct himself out of a cold. I'm pretty pissed that the next Star Trek movie that I've been waiting for is going to be a total bomb-shell and a half.

Wow... You guys are critical. I'm going to give this movie the benefit of the doubt until it comes out. I think it's going to be very good. The franchise needs a HUGE reboot and i like what I've seen so far, it's new it's different, it's fresh but it's also familiar. Give it a chance before you rag on it. And JJ abrams is not that bad.

Kirk is a killer - how many bad guy redshirts did he kill in the series? And in Star Trek III, remember when he killed the guy who killed his son? And Star Trek VI - "Let them Die" he said, when referring to the Klingons. He changed that later but obviously felt it at one point, if not anymore since he learned his lesson.
I sound like a total nerd I know. They may be able to do the series justice, I don't have high hopes, but we'll see.

This revisionist crap is getting tiresome. From the video game movies of SW 1-3 and now this and the upcoming DTESS, it's becoming an insult to the source materials. Returning to the 5 Year Mission is fine, and is already being done well on New Voyages, Farragut, Exeter, and others. We really don't need Hollywood spoon-feeding dumbed-down mass market crap versions of our classics of sci-fi.

Actually, I think Ewan McGregor would have been the perfect Kirk. As for the poster, don't you think Zachary Quinto seemed to be giving out a "happy/jolly" expression? I thought Spock only have one expression: a serious one.
