The latest tomb raider game sold below expectations, and the last tomb raider movie was a box office flop.In the eyes of your average hollywood exec, a movie based on an underperforming game which had previously spun off a flop movie is a lost cause- no matter how popular the leading lady is.

Not going to happen, she really doesn't have any experience in acting besides looking pretty for the camera. And I highly doubt she'd be able to pull of a convincing British accent that the character requires.

They'd be better off re-booting the whole movie franchise. Or perhaps not a re-boot per-say but just not connecting it to the previous ones. Going in an entirely new direction. Get someone that can pull a James Cameron and make a really strong and tough female lead. But I wouldn't go with Megan Fox.

Megan Fox is just a little to dirty. Former (?) lesbian and drug user. Even if you like tattoos, she has more tats than an alchoholic sailor who was on leave too many times.
Megan Fox has all the right curves, but not beyond that of many other beautiful women who are cleaner and less inked.
I don't know. Megan just has too many miles on her despite her youth.

It's funny how spme people here keep bitching that Lara Croft has a British accent and Megan doesn't. Did everyone completely forget that Angelina Jolie WAS AND IS NOT BRITISH?!? Granted she is attractive, but could she pull it off? From an action standpoint, who's to say? If she trains as hard, if not harder than Angelina did for the first movie, maybe. From an acting standpoint, that's more questionable, as other than Transformers, she's done nothing of substance. Other than that, all it is, is just talk, so don't get your panties in a bunch.
