Jason Statham Wants To Be Daredevil

The LA Times sat down with Jason Statham and asked him if he'd ever like to play a comic book character:
Could a British actor wear the red horns of the Man Without Fear? Jason Statham says, "Absolutely, just give me the chance, I would love to be Daredevil."
Sitting with Statham and Miller, it was easy to get excited about the idea of another "Daredevil" movie, one that was not a remake as much as it was a new installment. Hey Miller is the man who wrote the "Born Again" story arc in "Daredevil" -- there's plenty he could do with the character in a new movie. Statham said he is eager to work with Miller at some point and that he adores the Daredevil character. I made the mistake of asking Statham if might not make a better Bullseye than Matt Murdock and I thought he might hit me with his pint glass. "Forget Bullseye, I want to be Daredevil!" Miller nodded. "I think he should be Daredevil too."
I'm not sure why this is really news, but I'll go with it. I mean, I could ask every single actor next year what comic book character they would want to play and I'd have to post 400 stories about different actors wanting to be Superman or Spider-Man.
Would Jason be good in the role? I'm sure he would be. Nobody could do worse than Affleck did, but for now we have to file this one in the 'Wait and see' cabinet.

Daredevil and Ghost Rider were bad...OH yeah it was directed by the same guy. I like Statham, but I don't think it would work cause the first one bomb bad.

Daredevil has the potential to be a cool ass movie if done by the right people, I love Statham, but yeah I think he would make a better Bullseye

You don't make a sequel, you make a trailer with Jason Statham and you let him walk right up to the lens and say:
"You know, and I know that DareDevil sucked. It blew loads of wire-fu-tastic overstuffed plot, poor casting and bad voice over chunks all over the damn theater!! This is a kid raised on the streets. He's tough, he fights tough and he lives to keep Hell's Kitchen safe. He's not a leather suited bitch, he's a guy so bad, so untouchable, who fights like a godamn white Catholic ninja, that he don't need a leather suit. Just a dark, dark red body suit with horns. Daredevil deserves a reboot like hoe the Hulk got. And no Staham would not be a good DD, he has the martial arts skills but he is no Matt Murdock

i can imagine Statham as Daredevil OR Bullseye, but i preferred Affleck and Collin Farrel as Daredevil and Bullseye. But since there isnt a snowballs chance in hell of them returning or Jennifer Garner reprising her role as Elektra for a third time, they should start fresh like with Hulk.
