Monster Squad Remake? Jason & The Argonaughts? WTF!!

Bloody Disgusting talked to Rob Cohen today in a 1-1 interview and Rob revealed that Paramount has aquired the remake rights to the old 80's favorite Monster Squad. Cohen said he is planning on producing the remake but not directing.Click HERE to see the article and Monster Squad footage. But that's not all. While talking to journos today, Rob brought up how he had wanted to do The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad, but that the project is now dead. So I said, "There's always Jason & the Argonauts." Here was Rob's reply: "That has been brought to me recently. I'm looking at that. I'm looking at many different projects that involve fantasy." Looks like Rob may have a full plate.
