More First Look ShoWest Posters! Sorority Row! New Moon! Hurt Locker! Planet 51!

By George 'El Guapo' Roush on March 29, 2009
Still in Vegas and I decided to once again check back in with the Paris Hotel to see if anything new was out.

I noticed a New Moon promotional one sheet, Planet 51 artwork, Sorority Row poster, and The Hurt Locker poster. Hurt Locker looks pretty cool and is one of the films they're showing here at ShoWest. Again, we're not claiming any of the posters and artwork you see here to be final. I apologize in advance for any reflections, bad angles, etc. and I'm too tired to dress them up in Photoshop. If any have already been released, then cool.

Like I said before, you saw them here first. Other sites may want to take the posters and remove the watermark, but that's fine. Readers know who wasted the gas and did the real legwork the last couple of days to bring these posters to you, and it wasn't them.

Let's start things off with...

Planet 51

Animated sci-fi tale set on "Planet 51," whose inhabitants live in fear of an alien invasion. Their paranoia is realized when astronaut Capt. Charles "Chuck" Baker arrives from Earth. Befriended by a young resident, the astronaut has to avoid capture in order to recover his spaceship and return home.

The Hurt Locker

When a new sergeant, James, takes over a highly trained bomb disposal team amidst violent conflict, he surprises his two subordinates, Sanborn and Eldridge by recklessly plunging them into a deadly game of urban combat. As the men struggle to control their wild new leader, the city explodes into chaos, and James' true character reveals itself in a way that will change each man forever.

New Moon

In NEW MOON, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.

Sorority Row

When five sorority girls inadvertently cause the murder of one of their sisters in a prank gone wrong, they agree to keep the matter to themselves and never speak of it again, so they can get on with their lives. This proves easier said than done, when after graduation a mysterious killer goes after the five of them and anyone who knows their secret...

I also put in a better pic of Sherlock Holmes and The Hangover in our other poster article.

Stay tuned throughout the week as I bring you more news, interviews, reviews and other things that end in 'ews' all this week during ShoWest!
