How come I didn't have cool books like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson growing up? Nooooo...I had to read shit like Tom Sawyer and Catcher in the Rye. Those guys didn't have any cool powers. Meanwhile, Fudge was always causing mischief for his older brother and kids like me were crying their eyes out after The Giving Tree had nothing left to give.
So I'm looking forward to watching Percy Jackson do whaever it is Percy Jackson does. I haven't read the books (is there more than one?) like I have the Harry Potter ones so I don't know what to expect. But if it has Olympians and people shooting out lightning bolts, then I'm down for it.
Although I don't think it's a good idea to throw lighting bolts while you're submerged in water. Might be a safety hazard.
