Tim Burton's re-imagining of the classic Alice in Wonderland will have everyone guessing as to how the movie will look in motion right up until the release. Mixing animation with live action is nothing new, but according to Burton, the way he's doing will come across as something never before seen.
The website Timburtoncollective.com managed to get some scans of the article that was posted in the latest issue of Disney Magazine that came out this week.
Click on any of the pics to see them all, including a concept shot of The Cheshire Cat.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm sold. Cabbages and Kings when you

Tim Burton rarely fails to impress.
Check out Frankenweenie w/a really young D.A.R.Y.L. -- heard it's what got him fired from Disney, back in the day

Tim Burton is the only director where you expect the unexpected....You never know what you'll get out of his movies, that is why he is a great director

I agree that Burton should have stopped with Batman. I do think that he should have definately stopped after Ed Wood. His movies are all the same.

I love Tim Burton and ALL of his movies. His style and element is the same, not the content. You could argue any other director's movies are the same. his style is unique. Alice is my favorite movie and Through The Looking Glass is one of my favorite books. I'm ecstatic to see Tim Burton's spin on this.

You all need to cram your mouths with a heaping handful of my steaming shtit. Burton makes movies, what the fuck do you guys do. If you don't like him don't see his movies. That's like being straight and going to a gay bar and then bitching about it...Funny comment about the chick lookin like Tobey Maguire in drag though. Hit that nail RIGHT on the head. Anyone* who can knock a nightmare before xmas has issues.

father issues

tim burton is visually stimulating but his story telling is often bogged down by that. most films he makes are niche' films that appeal to a certain age group. the hot topic, emo, trendy types. i'm just sick of his father issues every movie he makes there is some sort of father issue. get therapy. not gonna see this movie.

He may have been fresh back in the late '80s when he did PeeWee's Playhouse and Batman, but the schtick is getting old to me. I hated 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' and always had since I was a child, and have despised several of his movies thereafter. Sweeney Todd was a headache, Corpse Bride was just about one of the worst movies I've ever seen, the man isn't really that creative. This is all my opinion. I disagree with his 'spontaneous creativity' because every Tim Burton movie that's released, I can expect a shallow goth romp that every depressed teenager will love.

I've heard the pros for this movie, and I've heard the cons... Altogether? I think this movie might actually break barriers with movie production. This live action/ stop motion way of filming seems revolutionary. And as for the actors, might I say that, once again, Tim Burton has made a good choice. Although I must say, hiss choice for Alice seems a little TOO innocent. She should be full of curiosity and wonder and excitement for her blossoming sexuality and womanhood. Other than that, I find this movie to be worth the wait. Good Job, Mr. Burton. : )

I think this is gunna be amazing, Burton has a really unique style, and most people around the world love it, theirs just that small amount that think they know whats what and dont like what they see, but thats their loss, Burton is the best director in the world at my guessing, And i really cant wait for this movie to come out, ive been excited for it since last year, im really excited to see the most likely amazing outcome./
