Yahoo! Movies has debuted the all new trailer for Zack Snyder's "Watchmen" starring Patrick Wilson, Malin Akerman, Jackie Earle Haley, and Billy Crudup.
The film opens March 6th 2009.

A complex, multi-layered mystery adventure, "Watchmen" is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the "Doomsday Clock" - which charts the USA's tension with the Soviet Union - is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed-up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion - a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers - Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity...but who is watching the watchmen?

This movie without a doubt will follow the graphic novel to a "T". It looks awesome. I don't think you can go wrong with Zack Snyder!!

Only a few shots rub me the wrong way, otherwise the damn thing looks incredible! The other thing that worries me is that Zack Snyder made a great looking 300, but wrecked the story by adding a poorly executed subplot, and some poorly directed performances by some of the secondary cast.

Zack snyder will not follow the graphic novel To a T hes changed the ending and hes slowly backing away from his word of being the most loyal to the material as possible. I dont know about you guys but i believe changing an ending is a huge change to any material!!!!! The book is meant more about its character and story and with all these slow mo shots of the characters just make me think its going to end up looking BADASS and not give justice to the actual meaning behind the graphic novel but im sure it the movie will be good but in no way should a watchmen movie be made like alan moore said you just dont make a watchmen movie.

Friggin' rad.. Obviously the book is dope, can't wait to see the movie also. The first half of the music is Phillip Glass-soundtrack to Koyanisqaasti. Look that up, also a powerful film. Love!!

I was totally jazzed for this movie after the first trailer, but this one (coupled with the fact that they changed the ending) kind of has me a little nervous. I guess we have to wait & see, though.
