I can't separate the name "Samuel L. Jackson" from the phrase "kicking ass" so it's with great shock that I find out he won't be doing any of the latter in the upcoming Iron Man 2.
Speaking recently with MTV News, Jackson said that audiences would have to wait to see his character, Nick Fury, beat some baddies. “Not this time, not yet. We still haven’t moved Nick Fury into the bad-ass zone. He’s still just kind of a talker.”
He also hinted that Fury could be getting into the action when The Avengers rolls around. And with a score of Marvel properties making their way to the big screen in the next few years, Jackson might have the chance several times over.
