Nigel Tufnel as Ivan The Terrible In Night at the Museum 2

The Trades reported that Christopher Guest is joining Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Robin Williams and Rocky Gervais in the Night at the Museum sequel currently shooting in Vancouver.

Guest will play Ivan the Terrible and join actors Bill Hader (as Custer), Jon Bernthal (Al Capone) and French actor Alain Chabat (Napolean). Reno 911 veterans Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, writers of both Museum films, will be making an appearance as the Wright Brothers.

I didn't think the first movie was any good. My Dad told me he laughed his ass off but my Dad is getting old and pretty much anything will make an old person laugh when they realize death is knocking on their doorstep. Is that a bad thing to say about your father? I'm a horrible person. I wish my parents had taught me about things like morals, kindness, and lockpicking.

If you missed Night at the Museum, the Blu-Ray transfer looks fantastic and it was that movie playing in Circuit City that convinced me to buy my stupid fresh Panasonic 50" plasma television set last year because it looked so awesome. I wish Ben Stiller was always there to make my buying decisions for me. Then shopping at Target wouldn't take so long. What was this news story supposed to be about again??
