Unicorn tamer Devin over at CHUD is reporting that Paul Greengras won't be taking over for Spielberg on The Trial of the Chicago 7:
Turns out that it's too good to be true. While Paul thinks it's a 'wonderful project,' and he had been talking about doing it, the timing didn't work out. So Paul Greengrass will not be staging the 1968 Democratic National Convention riots, which is kind of a bummer.
I'm sure there are plenty of directors out there that can take over the project. Paul is editing the Matt Damon movie Green Zone right now. I wonder if hes just freeing himself up for another Bourne film??
