Peter Jackson Talks HALO
By Ryan 'The Rican with the Irish name' McLelland on May 25, 2007
While talking with Stuff in New Zealand, Peter Jackson briefly talked about the status of the feature film adaptation of X-Box's monster hit Halo. The film was put on hiatus by partners 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures last year.
Jackson said he expected renewed interest from Hollywood studios 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures to have Halo made as the Halo 3 video game will be released later this year.
He and partner Fran Walsh would be involved again in Halo only if Neill Blomkamp is the director - Blomkamp was set as director before the film originally imploded. "We wouldn't want to do it with anybody else. It'll be Neill's call."
The article, which also touches briefly on The Hobbit and Jackson's new film Dambusters, can be viewed here.
