Platt lands in Frost/Nixon, Nip/Tuck

Oliver Platt is back to being a busy man as he lands a part in the adaptation of the Broadway play Frost/Nixon and a recurring part in FX's Nip/Tuck.
Director Ron Howard brings Frost/Nixon to the big screen - the dramatic retelling of the post-Watergate television interviews between British talk-show host David Frost and former president Richard Nixon. Platt will play Bob Zelnick who was the executive editor of the Frost-Nixon interviews.
Frank Langella and Michael Sheen (The Queen's Tony Blair) are reprising their Broadway roles as Nixon and Frost, respectively with Kevin Bacon and Sam Rockwell also starring.
The Platt will also be in five episodes of the sinfully delightful Nip/Tuck next season playing Freddy Prune, the producer of a TV show on which Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) and Christian Troy (Julian McMahon) serve as consultants.
