Brett Ratner is a director you either hate or love, there's not really that much of an in-between when it comes to him. Thanks to his attempt to make an "X-Men" movie, I fall into the first category. So when a report comes up that he's acquired the rights to the Femme Fatale Comics property "The Unknowns", your stomach immediately churns.
Luckily, all he'll be doing is producing under his Rat Entertainment label. The comic was created by Steve Kriozere, Mark A. Altman and Monica Olsen. "The Unknowns" focuses on Alexis Davenport, a normal woman who finds out that she once belonged to a mysterious team called The Unknowns. Once that information comes to light, she's on a journey to find out why exactly her memories where erased and who did it.
Ratner gives off his two cents on the newly acquired property," We think 'The Unknowns' will be a great new comic book/action franchise." Ratner is currently in the middle of producing the comedy "Horrible Bosses" and served as executive producer on Universal's upcoming science fiction feature "Skyline".
