During the eighties and nineties, there was a cry from action fans to Stallone and Schwarzenegger to star in a movie together. While the two are good friends in real life, they couldn't get a project together in time and their careers ended up going in different directions.
Looks like Arnold still has the acting bug, and according to AICN, will be doing a cameo in the new Stallone movie The Expendables:
Hey folks, Harry here... Just got off the phone with... ahem "my source" ahem... who let me know that Arnold Schwarzeggar is going to be playing Governor Arnold Schwarzeneggar in THE EXPENDABLES. He will be shooting for one day, and it seems that the Gov and Sly's character Barney Ross have some history back when the Gov was shooting CONAN THE BARBARIAN.Click HERE to read the rest, including more casting news on the movie. You also get to see Harry write the word "Ahem" about more 500 times in an attempt to be cute instead of just saying he talked to Stallone or his publicist on the god damn phone. You can also see that Harry doesn't know how to spell Arnold's last name.
It took long enough, but at least the two will finally be seen on the big screen together in an action movie, though I doubt Arnie will be throwing any punches during his cameo. Maybe the two will meet at Planet Hollywood.

This movie is sounding better and better... I can't wait !! Stallone is an awesome director, and with a cast like this... This shit's gonna be awesome.
