Dreamy, jean-short-wearing, CG werewolf morphing Taylor Lautner will star in the action movie "Max Steel," based on the Mattel toy property.
The teenager has signed on to star in the project, which centers on a 19-year-old extreme sports junkie recruited by a secret agency after an accident infects his body with nanobots, making him superhuman.
Aww, that is just delightful. He is going from a cheesy romance story aimed at tween girls to a cheesy action story based on an action figure aimed at tween boys. At least he's covering both sides of the spectrum.
No word yet on whether he will keep his shirt on or romantically yearn for a chick who's in love with a glittering vampire, but things are still early on in development. Never say never children!
