Some Terminator Salvation Rumors Get Cleared Up By George 'El Guapo' Roush on November 20, 2008 Total Film got the scoop on some of the more pressing rumors concerning the Terminator production. Questions that have been answered include Ain't It Cools posting of the ending the movie, James Cameron giving McG his blessing, (seriously, who gives a shit. I know I've had to report on this before, but it's dumb. James Cameron isn't the Pope, even though he'd like us to think otherwise.) Bale hesistant about being signed on, and if Arnold is actually in the movie. Here's one of those rumors that's been floating around concerning an Arnie appearance: Well, we’d bet our Terminator 2 action figure collection that we know the real reason. He was there to get motion captured for his all CGI debut as the T800. “We’re trying to synthesise a human character with a CGI character and that may or may not have something to do with the T800,” McG told us with a smile. The process isn’t without its problems, though. I can't recall any movie where ILM didn't hold their part of the bargin. By giving us spectacular effects time after time. Their most notable work they've done lately has been flawless.
