Looks promising, but I've been fooled before. Even my girl says it looks like its full of action, but is it 'Star Trek'? What Rodenberry created worked because it wasn't just about adventure but moral dilemmas. I've got little faith in Abrams after his "I never liked Star Trek" comment at the preview presentation, but Orci and Kurtzman seem to be real fans and might know what they're doing. That prequel comic "Star Trek Countdown" is an interesting setup for the movie.
Seriously

There should be a golden rule: Legendary characters don't need background, prequels. Screenwriters, producers save your money on devolped, lovable, marketable characters and develop them to the nest level or give more in their prime
Seriously

This movie is a prequel and continuation , Old spock lives on Romulus after the horrible events of Nemesis ( no joke ) Should never reboot a series with Time-travel . Just keep as remake and set on brand new course .
Is that Sylor
