Every black actor from Ice Cube to Tyrese to that dude who played Erkel has been rumored to be attached to the role of B.A. Baracus in the upcoming A-Team reimagining.
Now Blackfilm.com has learned about a new player. And he's all game, baby:
While casting is underway for the big screen adaptation on the long running TV series, 'The A-Team,' Blackfilm.com has exclusively learned that rapper The Game is being considered for the role of B.A Baracus, which was originated by Mr. T on the television show.
Online buzz has it that the role was going to another rapper-turned-actor, Common, but with his recent casting opposite Queen Latifah in 'Just Right,' he may not finish filming before 'The A-Team' get rolling in August. Other possible candidates have included Ice Cube and mixed martial arts fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.
Interesting enough, both Common and The Game appeared in the same film last year, 'Street Kings.' The Game made his film debut opposite Tyrese Gibson in 'Waist Deep.' Click HERE to read the rest.
At first I thought the story was about Triple H from the WWE playing the part, but then I remembered HHH was a white guy and I shook my head, snickered and continued flicking my pee pee.
What do you think? Is The Game a good casting choice? I don't think so personally. Where's DMX when you need him? Oh ya, he's in court.
Get in the game when you
