The X-Files 2: Dec. 10th Start Date
By Ryan 'The Rican with the Irish name' McLelland on October 29, 2007

Looks like my birthday present comes one day early this year...
According to ComingSoon.net the
long talked about but oft-delayed second feature film of the hit television show The X-Files has a start date: December 10, 2007.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson became household names playing Agents Mulder and Scully respectively on the hit Fox TV show that ran from 1993-2002. Both were featured in the first X-Files feature film 'The X-Files: Fight the Future' which hit in 1998 and took place between the fifth and sixth seasons of the television show.
The new film will be directed by series creator Chris Carter from a script by long time X-Files scribe Frank Spotnitz. No word yet if Robert Patrick or Annabeth Gish (who played FBI agents Doggett and Reyes from 2000-2002) will be featured in the film as well.
