Thomas Jane Jonah Hex Picture Was True and Not Fake
By Edgar 'El Toro' Arce on June 20, 2008

A few days ago the guys over at
Film School Rejects obtained an exclusive picture of what seems to be a test photo showing Thomas Jane wearing Jonah Hex makeup.
Jonah Hex is a gunslinger from the DC comic world, a Wild West badass anti-hero created by writer John Albano and artist Tony DeZuniga back in the 1970s and famous for his surly and cynical nature.
A few months back we actually did a script review for it
HERE!
After a few days of people and other sites saying the picture was fake so that they can debunk the story, we here at Latino Review sat tight, and waited. We waited until now….
Film School Rejects finally confirmed that the Jonah Hex pictures on the net are in fact legit. They know because they heard it straight from the horse’s cigarette smelling mouth! That’s right, Thomas Jane told FSR that he had a friend do some test make up shots, because of his love for the script and the character and then was surprised to find that the photo made it onto the net.
Here’s is what Jane said in its entirety:
"Yeah, the pic is real all right – my pal Akiva Goldsman told me about the project and I fell in love with the idea right away. Being a huge fan of all things Hex – I just couldn't help myself. I called up my buddy Chris Nelson and we spent a Saturday afternoon working up some make-up for this impromptu shoot and I fired a few pics off to Warners. How do people get a hold of this shit? It's a little embarrassing seeing my Fanboy enthusiasm spilled all over the web, but great scripts don't come around too often, especially for characters I love."There you have it…confirmed at last. But it doesn't mean he is Jonah Hex, but Jane sure does want the part.
