TMNT Meets Superman = Dylan Dog

Bloody-Disgusting alerted us that they've learned exclusively this afternoon that Kevin Munroe (TMNT) has official signed on to direct Dylan Dog, the adaptation of the Italian comic book brought here to the States by Dark Horse Comics.

In addition, the site was also informed that Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) has also officially signed on to topline. But that was reported a few months back.

Now the big news is that Kevin Munroe will NOT be directing GATCHAMAN for the Weinstein Company.

Dylan Dog is a penniless nightmare investigator who defies the whole preceding horror tradition with a vein of surrealism and an anti-bourgeois rhetoric. The true monsters in many of these stories are human beings.

Shooting begins this July in Toronto, Canada for Hyde Park.
