Trio Joins Vampire Twilight

Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and Nikki Reed will sink their teeth into Summit Entertainment's vampire franchise, "Twilight."

Thesps join Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's series.

Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz have also been cast as members of the blood-sucking Cullen family.

Catherine Hardwicke is directing the script by Melissa Rosenberg. Karen Rosenfelt, Greg Mooradian and Wyck Godfrey will produce along with Mark Morgan via his Maverick Films banner.

Story revolves around Bella Swan (Stewart), a 17-year-old who moves to a small town in Washington to live with her father and becomes drawn to Edward Cullen (Pattinson), a pale, mysterious classmate who seems determined to push her away. She learns he is a vampire.

Tome has sold more than 5 million copies worldwide and spawned two sequels, "New Moon" and "Eclipse."
