As well-spoken as she is beautiful, Monica Bellucci makes one hell of a mothering whore as DQ in Shoot 'Em Up. Oh, almost forgot... mothering, lactating whore. All with a poise that almost screams Euro-cinema, which fits in perfectly for this All-American gun-action comedy. A lonely outsider (Clive Owen) living in the shadows of his tragic past, rescues a baby from certain death and finds himself embroiled in a nefarious government plot. En route, he “hooks up” with a prostitute (Monica Bellucci) who specializes in lactation fantasies and who will help him feed and take care of the orphan child. Together they take on the trigger happy gangster politicians (Paul Giamatti, Stephen McHattie), and in a cinematic homage to Serge Leone, John Woo, Jean Pierre Melville shoot ‘em up’s, they bring down the Government and save the day. In the wreckage they find they have accidentally created their own little fractured yet functioning family. Shoot 'Em Up opens Sept 7th
