Wilson is Going to the Dogs

Wilson is Going to the Dogs Fresh off of Fox's tear-jerking Marly & Me, Owen Wilson has decided to give his career to the dogs -- or, more specifically, to an overgrown Great Dane.

According to the latest from The Hollywood Reporter, Wilson has signed on to voice Marmaduke, the main character of the comic strip by the same name. The movie, which, like Garfield before it, will be part live-action and part CG, will follow the Winslow family as they move to Orange County from Kansas with Marmaduke.

Wilson isn't the only celeb voice to grace the film either. As the script will involve a Mutts vs. Pedigrees turf war, expect to see dogs voiced by Fergie, Emma Stone, George Lopez, Damon Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Steve Coogan, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. The human cast, meanwhile, will consist of Judy Greer, William H. Macy, and Lee Pace.
