Wonder-Con! 10,000 B.C. Footage!
By George 'El Guapo' Roush on February 23, 2008

Typos and bad grammar be damned! I gotta get these updates up fast or I'm fired! I'm currently sitting here waiting for the 10,000 B.C. presentation and panel to start. The excitement is in the air! Actually, it isn't. The only thing in the air is the retched stench of star wars fans.
The footage we saw was the trailer and pretty much another trailer with added footage of mammoths and of the star rallying an African tribe to take down the people who kidnapped his girlfriend. So the end fight appears to be on this giant pyramid. It's Braveheart except nobody is wearing a shirt. I'm not sure if this is going to be any good, but the movie looks fantastic. Who doesn't like watching Sabretooth Tigers?
Roland and the cast are on the panel now.
Roland says the film was shot in New Zealand and Africa. He says there's a book called The Prince of the Gods about pyramids not having been built by the Egyptians. I guess that is supposed to fit into the film somehow.
He confirmed his next movie is called 2012. He won't talk about the film however. So far the questions being asked are generic with no real significant news. Roland says he finds stories everywhere as his inspiration.
He found some inspiration from the Conan universe in regards to this movie.
Rolands favorite super hero is Batman. Steven likes Punisher. And Camilla Belle is a Batman fan as well.
Sorry, guys. That's it! Q&A with the cast soon.
