Wonder-Con! Get Smart Panel!

They showed us a new trailer for Get Smart. Much better than the older trailer and the film looks pretty funny. Steve appears to actually kick some ass and get his goofs in at the same time. He does say the classic line "Missed it by that much." after he and Anne swing across two buildings but miss the window and end up smashing into the wall. He misses throwing a grappling hook, he dances with a fat woman, and manages to fall out of an airplane. Looked really good.

Steve said on the panel that they go back to shooting The Office in two weeks. He just served jury duty (The same time I did as a matter of fact) so he wants to write an episode where Michael Scott has to serve jury duty.

Anne was asked what her favorite scene in the movie is. Anne's favorite scene in the movie is the last shot of the movie that they filmed in Red Square. She said it was a touching moment, the crew bought them all McDonald's and she really thought it was a big moment. At the end of her answer she said ""I'm sorry. That was a horrible answer." Yes it was, Anne. Yes it was.

Peter said he would love to do a sequel if people enjoy the first one.

Shazam update by Peter. He says the screenplay has been delayed because of the writer's strike. They've been talking to the Rock about playing Black Adam, which is weird he said 'in talks' because as far as I know, that's already been confirmed.
